An introductory level course focused on foundational principles of trauma-informed practice, applicable across multiple therapeutic professions. A research informed, working definition of trauma will be explored and the core paradigm of Trauma-informed care will be introduced.
This foundational course will examine the impact of trauma with particular emphasis on how developmental disruptions and traumatic events impacts physiological, psychological and relational functioning.

Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy: Principles and Practice
An advanced course focused on the application of core trauma-informed principles—safety, relationship, and compassion—within psychotherapy, examining therapeutic goals, the qualities and stance of the trauma-informed therapist, and the mechanisms that facilitate trauma-informed therapeutic processes.

Applied Trauma-Informed Practice
Advanced, topic-specific modules that support the application of trauma-informed principles and skills within specialised areas of practice, allowing for focused learning in applied and emerging domains.
